Cashew came into our care with very little background information so we don’t know her age but we do know that she is great! We suspect she is a around 1 year +.
She is a typical active gerbil who loves burrowing and investigating. In her foster home she has enjoyed some free time out of her enclosure in a playpen full of things to explore. She is curious and will come up to investigate hands but may give a little test nip while she’s learning that fingers aren’t food!
Cashew needs a home with another single female or neutered male gerbil who she can be introduced to via the split tank method. We can carry out this bonding here at the rescue over 2-3 weeks, or support adopters with their own split tank to bond at home.
Minimum housing requirements: 100cm l x50cm w x 40cm h tank or tank style enclosure with 8+ inches of bedding for burrowing
Adoption fee: Minimum donation of £30 – this helps towards covering the costs of caring for the animals we rescue & rehome
