Guinea Pigs

Bertie

Name: Bertie
Species: Guinea Pig
Sex: Male (neutered)
Age: Approx 3.5 yrs
Status: Available for bonding
Adoption fee: Minimum £40 donation

Bertie was adopted from us in 2019 and sadly recently lost his partner so came back into our care to find new companionship.

Bertie is a lovely chap and would be a perfect boarfriend for a lonely sow or addition to a sow herd! Bonding/intros can be carried out here under our close supervision to ensure a successful match.

Housing requirements: For a pair of guinea pigs, we require a minimum of 20 sq ft of space on one level (equivalent to a 4 grid by 4 grid C&C), more for larger groups. Bertie is currently living indoors, so will need an indoor home.

Guinea Pigs

Albus

Name: Albus
Species: Guinea Pig
Sex: Male (neutered)
Age: Unknown, guesstimate 1-2 years
Status: Available for bonding
Adoption fee: Minimum £40 donation

Albus came into our care from a large scale hoarding/backyard breeder situation. He is quite timid, but is slowly coming out of his shell in his foster home. He would make a really rewarding companion for someone with patience and understanding.

We had Albus castrated on 29th September, so he is will be ready to bond with one or more sows from 10th November. We are happy to carry out intros for adopters here at the rescue.

Housing requirements: Bear is currently living indoors so will need an indoor home (at least until next spring/summer). For a pair of guinea pigs, we require a minimum of 20 sq ft of space on one level, more for larger groups.

Bear

Name: Bear
Species: Guinea Pig
Sex: Male (neutered)
Age: Unknown, guesstimate 18 months
Status: Available for bonding from 27th Sept
Adoption fee: Minimum £40 donation

Bear came into our care from a large scale hoarding/backyard breeder situation. He is very timid, but is slowly coming out of his shell. Like many guinea pigs, he does not like being handled or touched but this may improve over time. He would make a really rewarding companion for someone with patience and understanding.

We had Bear castrated on 16th August, so he is now ready to bond with one or more sows. We are happy to carry out intros for adopters here at the rescue.

Housing requirements: Bear is currently living indoors so will need an indoor home (at least until next spring/summer). For a pair of guinea pigs, we require a minimum of 20 sq ft of space on one level, more for larger groups.
